S470DXQM Ibanez guitar review

Let’s see what can offer for us guitar model S470DXQM Ibanez. That’s a guitar from S series that have a Wizard Neck II with 25.5 inch scale.

Guitar has a mahogany body and quilted maple top. Neck is consisting of three pieces that fixed with bolts on the body. On top of the neck, there is a bound rose fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. ZR bridge with a lot of adjustments and individual fine tuners. On the back we can see string tension adjuster that you can use for adjustments of the bridge, that’s a very interesting and unique thing . There are plenty of finishes – Bright Blue Burst, Blue Moon Burst, Charcoal Brown, Natural Fade, Red Viking and Transparent Lavender Blue.

Ibanez S470DXQM guitar has a three pickups Infinity series – standard configuration H-S-H. For sound adjustment, there are two knobs – volume, tone and of course 5-way lever for selecting pickups. When I chose pickup that’s closer to neck, I got a mellow sound, that is good for more smoother things. Then I turn on a single pickup, and sound is getting more rock and solid. Then I got thinner sound in a combination of single and bridge pickups. And on humbucker bridge pickup sound is getting brighter and with enough sustain.
